RAW Results

The show started with Shawn Michaels making his usual great entrance and he was soon joined by Triple H. The two of them cut a fantastic promo, like they usually do, talking about The Streak and what made HHH change his mind. HHH said he was doing it for the both of them, to finally lay The Streak to rest. Shawn didn't seem to happy with that logic, I guess he wasn't happy with HHH thinking he could do what Shawn couldn't.
As Michaels left the ring he announced that he had been made the special guest ref for the Hell in a Cell match but wouldn't HHH have know that anyway if he is COO?
This is what I thought would have happened for last years Mania but it's fitting that we get Michaels inclusion for the final chapter of this story. What side will he chose? Or will he stay down the middle?

The first match of the night was Jack Swagger vs Santino. A lot of interferance from both sides including Kofi, Dolph, Teddy, Lauranaitus, Aksana & Vickie. Santino won from a roll-up after countering an ankle lock and straight after the match Lauranaitus got on the mic and tried to get the result changed but instead Teddy Long had him thrown out by security. An emotional Santino celebrated with the faces after the match.
I would expect this to be a short reign, maybe he drops the belt to Otunga?

We cut to a video promo of The Rock sat on the Boston Harbour with a table load of John Cena merchandise. He makes a reference to when the people of Boston rebelled to the English and threw the tea into the sea and started ripping into each piece of Cena merchandise before throwing them into the sea as well.  Watch here

Next match up was Alicia Fox vs Eve, with Eve winning in about half a second. After the match Zack Ryder returned with a cane and addressed Eve saying it is "Broskis before Hoeskis".
After a commercial we see Eve confront Ryder back stage and kisses him. He looks happy and shocked as she walks away smiling to her self.

It's time for another video promo this time with John Cena sat in the empty arena earlier in the day. He was basically talking about how he had to win because no body remembers second place.

Big match time. CM Punk & Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan & Chris Jericho. Not as great a match as you would expect from these four but still none the less a decent encounter. Jericho & Bryan picked up the win after reversing a Punk pin attempt. Jericho was't even the legal man so it came across as a smart move by the heels.

Yet another video promo and we're back with The Rock. He talks about what if John Cena had led the American Revolution and said first of all he would have been shot for wearing riddiculous outfits. After making fun of Cena for a few more minutes he promises he will be in the arena shortly.

Reminder that Lauranaitus will be running Smackdown this week.

Big Show vs The Miz was the next match but before we got to action Cody Rhodes embarrassed The Big Show again by showing a video package of Mania 18 where  Big Shows role was to be at the WWE restaurant. Remember that place? Anyway Big show won again in a very short match by knocking The Miz out. Don't make a giant angry I guess.

The Rock is back on video with an intense promo this time saying he wants to make history at Mania and he'll look John Cena in the eyes later and tell him what he sees.

Undertaker and Shawn Michaels will be on RAW next week.

Kane beat R-Truth in about a minute, Randy Orton RKO'd Kane after the bell in retaliation for last weeks Smackdown.

Finally John Cena addresses The Rock. Great promo just like we have always got off these two. Instead of me writing it out, watch it here .
It's great watching those two tear into one another on the mic and it has to be said that they are doing a great job of building up interest for their match. Just a little disappointing with the wrestling side of the show but the promos with HHH & HBK then Cena & Rock made up for that.
